Ron Vesely, Chicago White Sox

Ron Vesely is a Chicago based sports photographer specializing in sports action and portrait photography for over 36 years. Ron is the Chicago White Sox team photographer, for whom he has worked with since 1985. He has covered 25 World Series and 11 Super Bowls, working with clients such as Major League Baseball, The NFL, Wilson Sporting Goods, Sports Illustrated, ESPN Magazine and many others.

Ron maintains a searchable photo archive of work spanning five decades of his sports imagery. Having served the photo community as President of the ASMP, Chicago Midwest Chapter, Ron has also been featured in Popular Photography magazine and Adorama’s “Meet the Pro” online series.

 

Nicole Zaleski, Rzcreative Productions

Nicole Zaleski is Head of Production, and one half of the husband-and-wife team behind Rzcreative Productions. They run a full-service photo & video production company that helps brands, businesses, and agencies achieve more by creating content worth sharing. Their services can be as comprehensive or as specialized as their clients need– and with over 20 years of experience in media production, Nicole and Robert are uniquely positioned for any task.

 

Sarah Matheson, Hungry Harry’s

As Co-Founder & Creative Director of Hungry Harry’s & Harry’s Mom, Sarah Matheson guides the development of this “Free from Top 14” bright and cheery food allergy brand, including all creative strategies, managing strategic partnerships & supporting their Hungry Harry’s Home Bakers & food allergy families across the USA. Sarah balances creativity & resources to develop engaging visual stories about real life with food allergies.

“Our personal journey validates so many other food allergy families. We made a commitment to ourselves that food allergies would never hold us back from engaging in family or community celebrations, or our ability to travel.”

 

Michael Clemens, Las Vegas Raiders

Michael Clemens is a professional photographer capturing everything from weddings, to portraits, to “Day in the Life” photo essays, to his current role as Director of Photography for the Las Vegas Raiders. Michael is an observer. Michael’s artistic eye comes from a background in film having worked on such movies as Forrest Gump, Contact, Castaway, Pirates of the Caribbean, Iron Man, Avengers, and Captain America, just to name a few.

Michael has a knack for capturing moments that are so often overlooked by others but are so intimately special for those involved. He has spent more than 20 years in the film industry with 10+ of them in visual effects, and throughout, has always had a camera in his hand which gives him an added edge and eye for looking at things from a different point of view.

 

Josh Nacion, University of Southern California Athletics

Josh Nacion is in his fourth year at the University of Southern California athletics department. As Digital Content Coordinator, he oversees USC’s official athletic website, USCTrojans.com, and manages the program’s internal PhotoShelter library. Nacion is part of a broad communications team at USC Athletics, a 21-sport department that pledges to be the most student-athlete centered program in the nation.

 

Lakeyia Brown, University of South Carolina

Lakeyia Brown, University of South Carolina social media specialist was a military brat, being born in Germany and raised in Japan. After high school graduation she ended up finding a home at UofSC. Her junior year she became a social media intern for the Athletics department and soon found a passion for social media. After graduation from UofSC, she became the university’s social media specialist.

The mission of the university is to educate the state’s citizens through teaching, research, creative activity and community engagement. Lakeyia’s mission is storytelling.

 

Morgan Campbell, Indiana University Bloomington

Morgan Campbell is a social media & digital marketing specialist at Indiana University. She graduated from IUPUI in 2018 and started her journey at IU Bloomington six months later. Since then, she has created thousands of graphics, videos, memes and copy for the official IU social media accounts.

IU has nine campuses and more than 90,000 students, making her job a crucial communication tool to reach their audience. In the past year, her team’s goal was to keep the Hoosier pride alive by making sure students stay engaged online.

 

Stanton Adams, The Citadel

Stanton Adams is the creative director at The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, who oversees The Citadel brand. Additionally, he is responsible for executing the college’s social media strategy, which has positioned The Citadel in the top 20 Division I colleges and universities for social media engagement over the last three years.

 

Andrew Patterson, Greenfly

Andrew Patterson is a dynamic executive who’s been at the leading edge of sports media innovation for nearly a decade, driving the integration of digital technology and fan experiences in the industry. He’s in charge of business development at Greenfly, where he manages relationships with key customers, distribution & channel partners, and technology alliances.

He joined Greenfly in 2019 from Major League Baseball Advanced Media, where he was their first social media employee. Andrew started and led the growth of MLB’s social media strategy, execution, integrations and strategic relationships, and leveraged new technologies to create new ways for fans to experience the game. Andrew’s impact on the sports industry was recognized by the Cynopsis Sports Media Awards, which named him Best Digital Executive in 2020.

 

Karen Ramming, Golden State Warriors

Karen Ramming is the Director of Social Media for the Golden State Warriors and Chase Center, where she oversees the social media strategy and its implementation for those brands. Prior to GSW, Karen spent time working in social media for Pac-12 Networks and public relations for TrackTown, USA. When she’s not behind a screen, she enjoys running and hiking with her dog to explore the Bay Area.

 

EJ Aguado, Major League Baseball

EJ Aguado leads the Player Marketing Team at MLB and has overseen the Player Social Program since its inception in late 2018. Working closely with players and agents, the Player Marketing Team acts as a resource for MLB players to elevate their personal brands through social content via the Player Social Program, off-field opportunities, and collaboration with the league marketing team. EJ joined MLB in 2014 as a member of the social content team and worked as a club social strategist for three years before being promoted to his current role on the Player Marketing Team. EJ is a Rowan University alumnus and was born, raised and currently resides in the great state of New Jersey.

 

Patrick Hooper, San Jose Sharks

Patrick Hooper has spent 11 seasons growing with the digital marketing platforms of Sharks Sports and Entertainment. He’s spent that time evolving their social media strategy, developing a mobile app, getting called twice into the coach’s office for a pair of tweets, and leading a team of marketers focused on driving revenue and delivering exceptional experiences across multiple touchpoints.

This past summer he took over a newly-formed Integrated Marketing team meant to unify efforts across two professional hockey teams, a concert and entertainment arena, and three recreational ice facilities. Patrick is a husband, #GirlDad and proud Johnnie and Don.

 

Joseph Guzy, Miami Marlins

Joseph Guzy started photographing sports at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. He was then lucky enough to get an internship and eventually the assistant team photographer position at the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2016 through 2018.

After making the move to Miami, he landed the team photographer job with the Marlins in 2019 and has been here ever since. Joseph’s mission is to tell the stories of the players, the team and the brand in new and exciting ways.

 

Insung Kim, Atlanta Braves

Insung Kim is the Sr. Creative Director for the Atlanta Braves. He leads the Braves in-house creative team that produces all of the designs for the organization as well as managing the Braves brand. Insung uses his experience working in graphic design and architecture to create branded environments for the Braves at Truist Park and beyond.

 

Kevin D. Liles, Atlanta Braves

Kevin D. Liles is a documentary, commercial, and sports photographer based in Atlanta. He specializes in creating narrative, layered and powerful images. Kevin is the team photographer for the Atlanta Braves, where he is responsible for action, as well as marketing and branding images.

A full-time independent photographer since 2012, Kevin has photographed hundreds of assignments for clients like The New York Times, The Washington Post, Sports Illustrated and The Wall Street Journal. Other clients include Turner Studios, The Golfer’s Journal, the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, ESPN, the NBA, and The Players’ Tribune.

 

Fritz Klug, Bell’s Brewery

Fritz Klug is a Kalamazoo native, former journalist and current digital marketer. After studying Latin and Greek at Western Michigan University as part of the first Kalamazoo Promise class, he worked as a journalist at the Kalamazoo Gazette and MLive in Lansing.

He is now in marketing at Bell’s Brewery and loves to share the opportunities for live music the Kalamazoo community offers with friends and family. In his spare time, he reads, writes, takes photographs, listens to music and follows Detroit Tigers and Kalamazoo Growlers baseball.

 

Pauline Benthede, Fotografiska

Pauline Benthede is Vice President of Global Exhibitions at Fotografiska and Chairman of the Fotografiska Exhibition Committee. With 11 years of experience in the Fotografiska group, she is responsible for all international exhibitions that tour Fotografiska’s venues in New York, Stockholm and Tallinn.

She has collaborated with a number of international artists such as Sarah Moon, David LaChapelle, Andres Serrano, Inez & Vinoodh, Anton Corbijn, Sally Mann, Bettina Rheims, Ren Hang, Hassan Hajjaj, Isaac Julien and Sebastiao Salgado, among many others. Pauline Benthede holds a Bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts in Photography from Gothenburg University, and has studied curating at Stockholm University and history of photography at Umeå University.
